Support

Local libraries play a crucial role in communities by providing equal access to knowledge, resources, and opportunities. They serve as hubs for learning, literacy, and community engagement.

Supporting your local library ensures that we can continue to offer a wide range of services, from lending books and digital resources to hosting educational programs and cultural events. Whether donating or volunteering your time, there are multiple ways to get involved at Victor Farmington Library.

Donate

  • Designate your United Way gift to benefit the Victor Farmington Library (VFL). When filling out your pledge form, you can direct all or a portion of your gift to help VFL. Just use our designated donor ID #2614.

  • You can support the library for generations to come by including the library in your will. A sentence like this is a great place to start:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to Victor Farmington Library (Tax ID #16-0864990), a charitable corporation established in 1957 in the State of New York, and located at 15 West Main St, Victor, NY 14424, the sum of $x.”

For more options, please speak with your attorney or trusted financial advisor.

  • The Friends of the VFL are accepting donations of gently used books! Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 am til Noon at Victor Mini Storage, Route 96.  Last day:  October 19th.

The library continues to accept magazines. Feel free to leave donated magazines in the bin in our lobby. Visitors are welcome to take as many of the donated magazines as they wish.

Your gift to the Victor Farmington Library helps children and adults explore new worlds, expand their knowledge, create new opportunities, and support our community. Support from community members like you helps the library remain the heart of our community.
