About Us

Our Mission Statement:

The Victor Farmington Library promotes and nurtures a sense of community by offering the space and resources for educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment for patrons of all ages.

The Victor Farmington library has been in existence since 1939.  Having occupied three other buildings, the VFL’s current home was finished in 1996 under former Library Director Patricia Evans.

Part of the 4 county, 42 library OWWL System, Victor boasts the one of the largest circulations of the OWWL network at the lowest cost per circulation. With the Victor Farmington area being one of the fastest growing regions in the country, VFL’s role in the community is only going to get bigger.

Currently under the directorship of Tim Niver, the Victor Farmington Library is a welcoming meeting place for everyone, not just community members.  We provide access to information for the inquisitive and assistance for the perplexed.   Of course the best way to learn more about us is to come in and visit.  Call 585-924-2637 or email victorfarmingtonlibrary@gmail.com with any questions.
