We are pleased to announce that the Victor Farmington Library will host a Used Book Sale beginning on Friday, 9/17, and ending on Monday, 9/20. The sale will be held in the Malone Room and the sale will be open during regular library hours.
This year we are pleased to be able to accept credit cards for payment in addition to cash and checks. Regular pricing will be as follows:
Prices will be as follows:
Books (hard cover and trade paperbacks (roughly 5×8″), movies, video games, and music $2.00
Children’s picture books, puzzles, games (non-video), and mass market paperback (4×7″): $.50
Bag Sale Day: On Monday, September 20th, fill a standard size, reusable grocery bag (like Tops or Wegmans) for only $3.
On Monday, 9/20, visitors can choose to purchase individual books at regular prices or take advantage of our special bag sale pricing to fill a standard size reusable grocery bag for $3.
Currently, due to space constraints, the library cannot accept donations of used books. When we have space for more books, we’ll share that information on Facebook and the library’s website.
The proceeds from this sale will help us build a larger library for Victor and Farmington.
