Teen Volunteer Information

The Victor Farmington Library offers opportunities for teen volunteers.

School Year VolunteersWe have limited opportunities for teens to volunteer during the school year.  We ask volunteers to commit to a regular shift that fits with their schedule and meets the library’s needs.  Teen volunteers may be asked to help with any of the following tasks:

  • Shelf reading, organizing, and straightening shelves
  • Shelving books
  • Tidying areas of the library
  • Searching for missing books
  • Assisting with specific projects or miscellaneous tasks as needed
  • Assisting with children or teen events

If you are interested in volunteering at the library, please complete the Teen Volunteer Application and return the application to Dori.  You may drop off the application in the library, or send it by email or snail mail.
